Not sure what to watch now that Severance season 2 has concluded? Well sadly unlike the outties in the show we can’t just turn off until the next season is ready, but not to worry, here’s some suggestions for things to try out whilst you wait for your next hit.
The Secret Life of Walter Mitty

I mean this is a no brainer, if you love that Ben Stiller quirk that he adds to Severance then you should check out The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. A film adapted from a short story and then directed and starred in by Ben Stiller opposite Kristen Wiig it’ll spark your sense of adventure and satisfy your need to Adam Scott in an office again. Whilst in no means a thriller it’s a visually and thematically beautiful yet simple adventure/comedy.
Mickey 17

Slightly closer in tone to Severance, Mickey 17 is a dark comedy/sci-fi adventure starring Robert Pattinson from the mind of Parasites, Bong Joon Ho. It’s got that quirky sci-fi feeling and a stacked cast to boot. The story centres around the idea of businesses using clones to do more dangerous labour, but when two versions of the same person exist at once trouble ensues in that delightfully brutal and humourous way.
Black Mirror

If what you love most from Severance is the thriller aspect and the mind-bending twists, then now might be the perfect time for you to jump into Black Mirror. With its newest season debuting on the 10th of April, it’s got this constant knack to consistently sweep you off your feet with unexpected plot twists and mind-bending ideas. Be warned though, this anthology series isn’t for the faint of heart, as it often discusses and features some extremely confronting material and stories.
Dark Matter

Dark Matter is another Apple TV+ original series that delves into the sci-fi/thriller world. Based on the book of the same name by Blake Crouch, Dark Matter follows Jason, an expert in astrophysics, who is abducted and thrown into an alternate version of his own life. Starring Joel Edgerton and Jennifer Connelly.
Adolescence

If you’ve not seen it already you’ve likely already heard of this massively popular Netflix limited series that’s just released. Adolescence is a crime-drama that warns of the dangers that unfiltered social media can have on developing minds. Adolescence centres on a 13-year-old boy whom is accused of murdering a classmate.
The Last of Us

If you’re looking out for what the next “water-cooler” TV show is going to be then if you’ve not seen the first season of The Last Of Us then you’ve got one week to quickly catch-up before its newest season lands on April 13. A dystopian, fungal zombie, horror series about a young girl who’s immune to the virus. The HBO series starts Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey as they try to survive the apocalypse 20-years on.
