Intriguingly, John himself hasn’t yet watched the documentary. According to Robert, his father avoids self-focused publicity, “He’s not one to watch himself on TV or even read reviews – it’s just not like that. But we’ll make him watch it.”

As he stated last year following his diagnosis, “The one thing I know for sure is that we have the best specialist healthcare professionals in Victoria, and we can all be grateful for that.
