A woman has been charged over a stabbing at Aitkenvale.
The 35-year-old is accused of stabbing another woman during an altercation on Ross River Road around 1.20am on Tuesday.
Paramedics have taken the 46-year-old victim to Townsville Hospital in a stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police have charged the younger woman with wounding and she will reappear in the Townsville Magistrates Court on August 25.
Anyone who may have seen the disturbance, or who may have relevant CCTV or dash camera footage from Ross River Road near Elizabeth Street, is urged to contact police.
The investigation is ongoing.
