The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a serious two-vehicle crash at Bemerside which left a man in a critical condition.
Emergency services rushed to the scene around 6.00am yesterday to assist in extracting two men out of their vehicles.
The driver and sole occupant of a red Hyundai Elantra, a 21-year-old Ingham man, was flown to Townsville Hospital by helicopter in a critical condition.
The driver and sole occupant of a blue Holden Barina, a 67-year-old Brinsmead man, was transported to Ingham Hospital and then flown to Townville Hospital in a stable condition.
Witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage is urged to contact police.
Investigations are continuing.
