A Townsville woman is one of three people killed in a horror bus crash on the Bruce Highway.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating after the Greyhound bus collided with a vehicle towing a caravan at Gumlu, north of Bowen around 11am on Sunday.
Police today revealed the ages of the three women who died at the scene, including a woman in her thirties, a woman in her twenties and a 56-year-old Townsville woman.
More than 20 other occupants of the bus were treated at the scene or at Ayr Hospital, with seven later transferred to Townsville University Hospital for further treatment.
As of Monday morning, four people remained in hospital, including a 23-year-old man and a 24-year-old man, both in critical conditions.
The highway reopened both lanes to traffic just after 12am on July 1.
Anyone with information that could assist investigations, including vision of the crash, is urged to contact police.
