Two teenage boys have been arrested following unrelated break ins at homes around the city.
On Tuesday morning a 16-year-old boy allegedly stole a Holden Commodore from a unit in Palm Cove before using it to breaking into a home in Edmonton, where a Mitsubishi Outlander and personal items were also allegedly stolen.
And a 17-year-old Manoora boy was arrested yesterday accused of attempting to steal a Ford Ranger and breaking into two businesses on Comport and Spence Street.
Both fronted Cairns Children’s Court yesterday.
In an unrelated matter a 32-year-old man has been charged with sex offences in Cairns city.
Police alleged the 32-year-old man was spotted following and filming a woman as she walked along Grafton Street around midnight Tuesday.
CCTV operators caught the man attempting to film up the womans skirt before reporting him to police
He’s been charged with breach of privacy and appeared before Cairns Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
