Investigations are continuing after stolen car crashed through a fence at a Townsville school.
Police say the white Toyota Prado collided with a Mazda2 which then collided with a Toyota Landcruiser at the intersection of High Range Drive and Pioneer Drive in Thuringowa Central around 7.55am yesterday.
The female driver of the Mazda2 was transported to Townsville University Hospital with chest pain, as the Prado fled the scene.
It’s alleged the Prado crashed into the fence of Kirwan State High School on Hudson Street around 8.05am.
Three girls fled on foot but were arrested by police nearby.
A 12-year-old girl has been charged with four counts of trespass, two counts of stealing, and one count each of public nuisance, interfering with fire apparatus, wilful damage and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
She has been remanded in custody to appear in Townsville Children’s Court at a later date.
A 15-year-old girl has been charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
She is due to appear in Townsville Children’s Court at a later date.
A 10-year-old girl has been dealt with under the youth justice act.
