A man accused of assaulting police on a night out in Townsville has been charged.
It’s alleged the 18-year-old was being arrested for disorderly behaviour on Flinders Street around 4am Sunday.
Police say he became uncooperative and kicked an officer in the torso causing minor injuries.

He has been charged with serious assault police officer causing bodily harm and is due in the Townsville Magistrates Court on April 4.
