A 19-year-old man has been killed in an alleged hit and run crash at Heatly.
Police say at around 4.40pm yesterday a dark Holden Commodore and a dirt bike were travelling in opposite directions along Dalrymple Service Road before they collided.
The rider of the dirt bike, a 19-year-old Vincent man, sustained critical injuries and was declared deceased at the scene.

It’s alleged the Holden Commodore left the scene and was later located abandoned at a Marcel Street, Kirwan address.
Investigations into locating the occupants of the vehicle are ongoing.
Investigators are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or may have relevant dashcam or CCTV footage to come forward.
