The rain may have stopped, but parts of Townsville are still at risk of flooding this weekend.
King tides are expected from this morning, peaking at 3.84m after 8am, with further king tides up to 4.12m until midday on Tuesday, January 24.
Residents in areas that are prone to minor flooding during the tides are urged to take necessary precautions.

Suburbs like South Townsville and Railway Estate may be impacted, along with Hanran Street and Ogden Street in the city.
Motorists are asked to observe any warnings and road closures.
