Images have been released of a person accused of an attempted armed robbery at a Douglas fish and chip shop.
Around 5.20pm on June 15, the male entered Fish Stop on Riverside Boulevard and threatened an employee with a large knife.
The male demanded money, but the 29-year-old employee refused to hand any over.
Police say the offender fled empty handed and left the staff member unharmed.
The male is described as Caucasian, aged in his mid to late teens, with a slim build and dark hair. He was wearing a dark hoodie and track pants and carrying a dark grey and blue backpack.
Investigators are appealing to anyone who can identify the male pictured to contact police.
