Police are investigating the sudden death of a 39-year-old woman on Palm Island.
Emergency services were called to the scene of a Clump Road residence about 9.00am on September 1, following reports the woman had sustained a life-threatening head injury.
The woman was airlifted to Townsville University Hospital for treatment.

She passed away on Tuesday, September 3.
Police say no charges have been laid and anyone with information is being urged to come forward.
