Two police cars have been targeted by stolen vehicles in Townsville.
Multiple cars were stolen over the weekend, with police vehicles deliberately rammed on two occasions.
A Holden Barina was stolen from a Nathan Street, Aitkenvale address on Friday morning about 3.15am, May 5 .
The passenger was located and has since been charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle and burglary of the vehicle, which police will allege attempted to ram their vehicle.
The stolen vehicle has been located and investigations are ongoing to locate the driver.
On Saturday morning about 4am, a Mazda BT-50 that was stolen from Heritage Close, Kirwan rammed an unmarked police vehicle on Ross River Road at Cranbrook.
Investigations are ongoing to identify those involved in the theft.
Property Crime Unit investigations continue to identify drivers of stolen vehicles and to locate the 13 stolen vehicles currently outstanding in the Townsville District.
Since Thursday May 4, 10 people have been charged with 32 offences.
