CCTV shows axe-wielding man rob Ingham McDonald’s

Police have released footage of an armed robber who is still on the run in Ingham.

Around 2am Thursday, the man can be seen wielding an axe at a drive thru window of the McDonald’s on Herbert Street.

Police say he threatened staff and demanded money, before fleeing towards Gedge Street with the cash.

The two staff members were not physically injured

Investigators are appealing for public assistance to identify the man who is described as Caucasian, with a solid build.

He was wearing a black face covering, a black and white ‘Jack Daniels’ branded cap, black jumper and blue full length cargo pants with tan work boots.

Any businesses and motorists with dashcam and CCTV between 1.30am and 2.30am Thursday are urged to come forward.
