Two boys have been charged over the alleged armed robbery of a Heatley convenience store.
The pair are accused of entering the Fulham Road store on Saturday around 6.40am, before one boy threatened the attendant with an unknown object and demandedmoney and cigarettes.
It is alleged both boys fled the store with the stolen goods and were met by two teenage girls outside of the store.
Police located the four teenagers nearby and took them into custody.
A 17-year-old Garbutt boy was charged with enter premise with intent to commit indictable offence and armed robbery, while a 17-year-old Wulguru boy was charged with enter premise with intent to commit indictable offence, armed robbery and common assault.
Police also charged a 16-year-old Annandale girl with receiving tainted property.
They are due to appear before Townsville Childrens Court at a later date.
