An accused armed robber remains on the run in Townsville.
It’s alleged a man wearing a face covering and gloves has entered a Nathan Street service station at Aitkenvale around 9.30pm on Sunday, March 19.
Police say he threatened a staff member with a knife and demanded money, before leaving on foot.
He is described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 20-years-old with an athletic build.
Nothing was taken from the store and no one was physically injured.
Police would like to speak to the drivers of a red SUV and a white Holden Commodore sedan that were parked at the service station at the time.
Other witnesses, including two people who were inside the service station shortly prior to the incident, are also urged to contact police.
