A house fire in Ayr has left two people in hospital this morning.
Four fire and rescue crews were called to Burke Street around 3.30am, finding the home well alight.
Firefighters remained on the scene until 6.40am before handing the scene over to police.

Paramedics have assessed three people for smoke inhalation, with two patients taken to Ayr Hospital in stable conditions.
