More snakes are on the move as the weather heats up.
A person has been hospitalised due to a snake bite in Ayr around 3pm yesterday.
Paramedics have taken the patient to the local hospital in a stable condition.

It comes after a child was bitten by a snake at Bowen earlier this week.
